    Yes they are. Read "The Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2006", particulary Sections 4, 15a, 16, 21, 46 and 49.

  • just look at the power sockets.

  • umm isnt the entire point of a power strip is to protect from power fluxuations...so it would stop/ should stop such a device in its tracks.
