For the first time on the US East Coast, gamers in New York City, Miami, and Chicago had the chance to check out the PlayStation Vita in the flesh. And instead of tucking it behind a glass display case or anything of the sort, the folks at Sony opted to let people hold, touch, and most importantly play the handheld to really see what it's all about.
DualShockers attended the NYC meetup to catch a first glimpse of what the general public thinks of the upcoming handheld. Were they as impressed as we were seeing it for the first time back at E3 earlier this year? Absolutely. Even if you didn't get to make it to one of these unveilings, you still have a chance to get it on the fun as the Social Clubs will be running through launch.

@MichaelNTL Still i get about as much as a part timer, so if you are careful with money, you can buy anything you want (within reason) - except for car insurance.

Does it have to be on a Wednesday? Middle of the week, one of my latest days at my university? Oh well, at least i can afford it and a few games. If a student can afford it, then she must be poor, or some kinda spendaholic.
