At least three homes were washed away as Lake Delton overflowed in Sauk County and washed across the highway into the Wisconsin River. Take a look at some of the amazing raw video of one of the homes being washed away -- and the aftermath.

  • You wouldn't think it was funny if it was your life's work and belongings being washed away... with no insurance to cover you because this was not "supposed to be" a flood plain. If I were you I would just pray I never had to experience this kind of devastating loss in my life and shut my mouth.

The dam didn't break... the levees broke.

  • @OBAMASTINKSLIKEANAPE THANK YOU!!! I live in this town and there are so many big houses right on the lake! The people who own Mount Olympus built a huge (and ugly) house about 2 feet above lake level. I can't wait for the next big storm!!!:D

  • @IMABuDdAh14 Lake Delton is located about 50 miles (about 1 hour) North-Northwest from Madison. It's a 3.5 hour ride from Chicago.

  • damn what a shame

  • @21leathergirl Who the fuck would be dumb enough to build a house in a flood plain and then bitch about when your house was destroyed by a flood except some union filth from Wisconsin.

  • Awesome!

    Love it when nature prevails.
