This years Shootout saw three days of epic pipe and backdoor ranging from 12-15+ ft. heavy pipe to perfect 6 ft. perfect backdoor. The no elimination format allowed all surfers multiple attempts to get the highest point total throughout the entire event. It was a tight battle down to the last day but Jaime O'brien edged out Bruce Irons to take home $50,000.
