Hair Journey Vid Pt2

I made a point to include pictures where I had thin edges. My edges are full now...just letting you know that I have had hair troubles in the past as well and "listened to my hair" when the edges were breaking off and took a break from what was breaking my edges off (in my case it was back to back braided styles). If your edges are getting thin and weak, please don't ignore it because there is no guarantee that they will return if the follicle is damaged. Also, once you see what is making your edges thin..modify that style so that there is less stress on the hair or give your hair a rest from doing the style so often.

The SOLE purpose of this video is for encouragement to ladies(andfellas) who are in a rut as far as your hair journey goes. Feel free to compare length and texture, but keep accusatory ignorance to yourself (eg. Telling me what Nationalities I am a mix of etc.).

Also, I am not into hair typing.

I have vids waiting to be uploaded but with my new camera I am having a hard time using windows movie maker to upload the vids. Hopefully I will get it sorted out, but enjoy this for the time being.

question. . . . . I really enjoy watching your vids from the very first post to the most recent. You've truly helped me. Your hair is what I pray for , like i really pray for hair like yours. My question to you is, Has your hair always been thick? Both my parents hair are thick and my oldest sisters hair is thick but it seems like it skipped me. Does it have anything to do with uneven hair?

My hair has always been thick since I was a child up until I relaxed my hair, then returned when I went natural. Uneven hair will take away from the thickness of your hair. Thank you for being a viewer!

Hi! first of all i would like to say that your hair is gorgeous! when you said that your edges were getting thin because of the braided hairstyles, was it because it was too tight or done too often?

I do have a question: I have a few grays and would like to color my hair but I am not sure of the best (healthiest) way to do so. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi there,

Thank you. I dyed my mother's hair using the brand "Dark & Lovely". I didn't notice any negative effects, but she did mention that her hair felt a little harder, but nothing too bad. I permanently dyed my hair once and my hair was relaxed and my hair was VERY hard and brittle, but I didn't know better than to use 2 chemical processes at once.

Unfortunately beyond this, I am not too familiar with color, but people have recommended henna.Gl
