we were in different heats, so we watched the whole thing we laughed and said "we got first place in the bag" we got first place in our heat. Then over the incom they announce that "Vacaville has been given the win by default" and we were pissed. but we are going to race them again this weekend, with a better hurdler(he was taking the SAT at the just passed meet) so we better win.

damn, that makes no sense at all. I can't believe they did that. I know y'all had to be pissed. Were y'all in the lead before the guy even got in the way of Vacaville?

i just raced this yesterday, and Vacaville knocked over the hurdles and some dueche ran in and put the hurdle up.
vacavilles second leg had to stop running cause the jacass was in the way. so they gave vacaville the win(we got second only because they got the default win)

I've never seen this event before. It looks fun, but I'm still wondering how it worked, because what happens if some of the hurdles get knocked over?
