1963 , i was 11 when this came out, back then 11 years old you still acted like a little kid. Astroboy was like no other cartoon on TV at the time, our first look at cartoons from Japan , the word Anime didnt exist. The first thing i noticed was the big eyes on everyone, and the dubbing into english. Nice to see everyone stiil knows Astroboy 48 years later .

Not after the first episode of this series, 'montodefino'. "Dr. Boynton" did reappear in the later color version in the '80s, and the 2003 remake- quite insane.
