A few days ago Elzhi (Detroit, Slumvillage!) was in town, together with DJ Houseshoes & a live band, to perform his Mixtape "Elmatic" (His Hommage to Nas' Illmatic). We talked about the tour, nas, conscious rap, the mixtape, sponsors, upcoming projects, features and more.

Vor ein paar Tagen war Elzhi (Detroit, Slumvillage!) zu Gast in der Stadt überhaupt, äh, der Hauptstadt, um zusammen mit DJ HouseShoes und Band sein "Mixtape" Elmatic (Hommage an Nas' Illmatic) zu performen. Wir sprachen mit dem sympathischen MC in einem gemütlichen Restaurant über die Tour, Nas, "Conscious Rap", das Mixtape, Sponsoren und kommende Projekte und Features.

P.S.: Normalerweise hätten wir auch beim Konzert gefilmt und Fotos am Start, aber das Management von Elzhi war sehr restriktiv was das angeht, deswegen nur das ganz normale Videointeriew. Na vielleicht beim Nächsten Mal.
