@tuffytuffers I am not sure....it was $2.99 per yard at Hobby Lobby.....I think it is some type of cotton.

Yes, thanks so much for the tutorial. I just bought a template with Japanese instructions and had no clue how to make that kind of flower nor did I know the name of it was totally lost...now thanks to you, I do lol-TFS!
