Why are there bicycles on the track? Arethey drivers scouting out the track, or do they have a "24 Hours of LeMans: Pedal Power" series too? Hmm...that might be entertaining, to have a GT-Cycle Class racing with the cars. If you could find anyone brave (or stupid) enough to do it!

@dominodash21 In the Olden Days of LeMans, there were no rules at all about drivers. Most teams ran two drivers alternating up until the 80's, but there were several who ran solo (no bathroom breaks!). I think one came very close to winning before his car died, too. Soloing was banned in like the 50's as a safety hazard (exhaustion and very fast cars = bad news). As cars got faster, in the 1980's they made 3 drivers mandatory, and no one driver could run more than 14 hours in a race.

@dominodash21 Three drivers to each car. So the drivers get to rest but cars race for 24 hours.

Born to be wild! - so appropriate when the guys are on the Mulsanne - have to be really crazy to drive that especially way back in the day when they were going 240+ miles per hour without the two chicanes.
