It's unlikely that Timberland 'masters' any of the tracks he produces, so the ball isn't entirely in his court. As far as the beat goes I don't think there's such a thing as too much compression, as compressors have long been used in this type of music as more of an effect than a method to control dynamic range.
That said, dynamic range isn't really a facet of modern pop music, perhaps because it's likely to be heard on such a large variety of systems - even mobile phones!

i mean what in particular in this track has too much compression? if ur judging by the youtube audio then ur not judging fairly because all youtube audio sounds overly compressed. sorry buddy. you should ask yourself "do you know what a compressor is?"
