  • @qitae Im sorry. But I got two pairs of chinnies from a petstore.... I think they read your comment XD jk but im sad your chinnie is alone :( Can you get another playmate?

  • Aww... :(

  • mine is the only chincilla in the house and we notice it happens a bit in the spring and we think she's called for a friend/mate....so sad, but we pay her loads of attention but stupid pet stores should not be selling them alone as they need to be at least in pairs. But didn't know this at the time. Never buy anything from a pet store

  • @chinchillaluv11 Well if she's making this noise, it means she's either very unhappy and lonely, very unfamiliar with something or scared. and if yoou're not playing with her everyday for a few hours then i'd say she's very unhappy.

  • @Gemmerrrr1 -_-' well i was rong i havent been on this channel for awhile but its been like a year since i have had her and i have notice she starts to do this randomly even when i play with her and when i made that camment that you responded to i started to get more use to playin with her so i dont forget anymore but before sometime when i would take her out she would just jump back in her cage i think the just had to get use to her environment more but she is more playful now ^_^

  • she's barking at you because she's in an unfamiliar place. she'll come around in time. Are you sure it's a girl make sure you know before you add another one if you decide to in the future.

  • haha my chinchilla only makes that noise late at night. it sounds a lot freakier tho.

  • it means they want to play

  • chinchillas always make that noise. whenever im sitting in the room with my chinchilla he'll make that noise and soon as i come over and show attention he stops. lol

  • @chinchillaluv11 Sorry, but how can you forget to play with your chinchilla? It's supposed to be let out everyday =/
