The last time I saw Stiv was at a Dead Boys reunion in Cleveland in the late 1980s. Stiv had a haystack hairdo and the show was great. My friend and I screamed rude comments at Johnny "Blitz" Madansky, with whom we had attended high school. Stiv, RIP. To the rest of the guys: stay healthy, and thanks for the great music.

that's gross in a way, the dead boys did their best songs and those moves in the mid-70's. also, 2 of the members come from rocket from the tombs, 73-74 cleveland ohio. watch the early footage, johnny rotten took the style from stiv bators. also, the overall goth look... came from richard hell (television, heartbreakers) which malcolm mclauren admitted.

Stiv died 1990 hit by a car in Paris...didn't realize how hurt he was, went home, went to sleep but he had a concussion and died in his sleep RIP
