KRK RP-6 has a "deeper" Bass and delivers a sound with a lot more power than the RP-5. If you compare the size: the RP-6 has a lot bigger Speakerbox than the RP-5 so thoose who choose the RP-5 probably dosent have enough space for the RP-6 !
@djmara2002 well somone's borrowing my soundcard and i'm currently running mine straight out the speaker jack from the back of the PC and they're stupid loud even on like 30/100 so its something to do with your sound card i guess
@Benwilson89 thanks matey, but i guess the next problem i'm facing if i did that is the overall volume controls on my system settings won't give me a the desired volume when set to full! :( it's almost like it needs a boost internally. i am running my speakers through an m-audio mobile pre usb external device, however the internally set volumes for that are just below 0 as well. hmmph
does "isolation pads" that angle the speakers on the desk do same work as stands like that?

Does it have enough bass-response on it's own? Or do you need a woofer to make the sound more even?

@djmara2002 -6 is actually the best place to be, supposedly you should only have to change them if you have a surround setup
