The saga continues... Note: Watch for the Cantina Alien from Star Wars BEFORE it was in Lucas's 1977 classic...
Spoof of the TV series Night Stalker, shot in 1972 by Director William Malone and his friends, on a budget of a $100, in their spare time. It stars FX wiz Robert Short (Beetlejuice) as Karl Kornchek and features a stalking Turkey created by Rick Baker (Wolfman), along with performances, by Bob Burns in 2 roles (one as a gorilla), Malone as Mayor McCheese, Robert Alvarez (a Chief Animator at Cartoon Nertwork) as the Witness and Robby the Robot. The script was written on the back of a paper napkin by Alvarez, Malone, Short, and their production motto was "if it's bad, it's in". Interesting Note: The movie was shot on a Sony AV3400 Porta Pak the very first home video camera available to the public. Loaded with people (some Academy Award Winners) who would later go to have major careers in Hollywood, Night Turkey is a very rare blast form the past that's sure to put a smile on your face..
