Dr. Mike "DoctorMike" Reddy steps from the guest sofa into the presenter's chair for the #30 (12th June 2008) edition of the Develop GMA award winning "Games Night". There was only one more before XLeague was pulled off air. This is part two of four, taken from the iTunes feed version of the show, so apologies for the quality as it took several conversions to get it editable for YouTube. It was originally 640x360 wide screen SD, but editing seems to have squeezed it a bit. Sorry.
Of particular note in this part, I really liked the "Why do game developers make bad games?" discussion, which I think made REALLY good TV! I also loved Ellie's Shame Train comments, and the BBFC examiner Jim's comments; of course all this was topical at the time, even though the BBFC have now - Post Byron - lost the franchise for classifying games. He also says "SHIT!" at about 6m20s which COMPLETELY THREW THE PRODUCTION CREW! ROFL!
Here are MY self-criticisms: I fluffed a line or two, but was a lot more relaxed after the ad break, when the producers had told me I was doing better than I had thought!
Nice to see the BBFC represented by a foul mouthed dude! In all fairness, the BBFC are really a quite liberal bunch these days!
