Dwarf car @ dunes.... after a drive shaft yoke broke and 2 days to fix it I had to do some hot laps to justify a 4 day trip. Just to be clear. I tried to make my dwarf car go off road with the minimal amount of work (Just like others on the web- and it failed) That is why you dont see too many on the internet.
Now my car is undergoing a FULL over haul and upgrading every thing. including the body, front and rear suspension, Paint and motor upgrades. So the next time it will NOT fail.
The reason you dont see Off road Dwarf cars....Its not cheap! Period. Between the Shocks and springs. New spindles and new front A-arms, Rear 4 link... No wonder you dont see many.
There is a Web site that does have a few if you would like to check it out...www.sandrod.com Has a few pics and contact info if you want to make your dwarf car into some thing besides "Going left" ...

The tires are off of a Polaris ranger with wheel adapters. Problem is ranger wheels have too much grip and are meant to spin SLOW!!! I ended up twisting the drive shaft yoke into a knot........
