This is far from my best performance; the vocal is rough. But I don't want to record it again. It's difficult, dang it.

Awesome voice! My mom's worship leader sang it at the celebration of her life. My son, Matthew, 17 then, told me he wanted that song for his funeral. He was 28 when he was brutally murdered, 6/08, in a random robbery, along with his best friend, as they left my son's Christian recording studio in Garland, TX! Our only child; he left behind a young wife and two babies. I can't listen to you sing this song without having a good cry. Thank you for blessing us with your gift!!

@tlbutler57 Oh wow... How very awful and sad! Thank you for sharing that with me. I don't have kids, but I can not imagine a pain worse than losing your child to death. Especially of that kind. I'm very sorry that happened! But I'm glad this song can bless you in some way.

OK Joel, I've been listening to you sing since finding you about a week ago. I've linked some of your videos to my facebook page because I wanted friends to hear how I was feeling and you sang it far better than I could begin to express.

Now, I see the comment by cbrusharm about Michel English and I beg to differ. I didn't know who Michael English was so I had to listen. I paid particular attention. You are purer, not second place, he's not near.

Why you would wish to rerecord this song is beyond me ... often times the best version is not the most anointed... stick with the anointing and all the yokes of bondage will break loose from you and fall away... may the blessings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ chase you down and over take you in an abundance that so over whelms you that you will have to cast some of it off onto others in love.
