Every year, The Senior Citizens League calculates just how much money seniors have lost due to inflation.
This year's results aren't encouraging.
Since 2000, seniors have lost 24% of their buying power. In other words, for every $100 worth of goods you could afford in 2000, you can only buy $76 today.
