This is actually day of the festival. The MILW observation car was on the north end for the northbound trips to Alma after the first day.

Daylight is my favorite, But I do love that little 4-4-0 too.

Can Leviathan even pull anything? I didn't see a coupler on the rear of the tender.

@deloreanman14 Never noticed that before. Not sure. I'm sure she has the power. Maybe he had not applied the coupler yet. I heard he was hard pressed to make it ready for Railfest

What exactly was Leviathan built for?

@PereMarquette1223 I guess because the guy wanted t00. If I had the money I would build one too.

I saw the SP #4449 in Owosso, Michigan and my Dad and I got shots of the Daylight. She is the one who pulled the American Freedom Train in the 1970s.

@falzonbr Yes she is one of the Locomotives
that pulled the "Freedom Train". However she
did not pull the Freedom train in Michigan,The American Freedom Train, toured the country in 19751976 to commemorate the United States Bicentennial. This 26-car train was powered by three newly restored steam locomotives..
