I have watched all of the 3 parts of this show.... and I must say, this must be the best tribute to have ever been paid to Johnny Carson... Second comes Dave Letterman's tributal show to Johnny after his death when he had Peter Lassaly and Doc on the show, and read a monologue of jokes sent by Carson just before he dies.

A former dentist I knew went to high school with Johnny. Johnny was pretty quiet and kept to himself unless he had a deck of cards in his hand, according to Dr. Heins. RIP, Dr. Heins and Johnny.

I believe that Johnny endowed a major cancer research center at the University of Nebraska Medical School.

@creon242, David Letterman put his hands on my hips to move me out of his way so that he could enter on stage right. I was the clarinet player at the end of the back row on that side.
