@Africanus1 You claim that just because the word "socialist" was in the Nazi Party's full name that the Nazis were socialist. In truth, this is far from correct. Back then, socialism was seen as good and people flocked to any group that said "socialism" (like the Social Democrats). While the Nazis were fascist, they didn't want to use the term "fascist" because they felt it sounded too Italian.
