Video taken, while riding on MARC Camden Line train 853, recording from Ivy City into Washington Union Station. Includes excellent footage of a Amtrak regional 7-car train pulled by a HHP-8, arriving alongside. Also includes departing MARC Penn Line train 530, also pulled by an HHP-8. Includes parked equipment at the station (MARC GP40WH-2, another Amtrak HHP-8, 3 GE P42 Genesis engines, and a MARC Kawasaki bi-level)

  • I like the stretch of track near New Carrolton where Amtrak runs adjacent to the DC Metro.

  • Yeah, me too. All of Metro's lines run parrallel to commuter rail or Amtrak at some point.
