In all fairness, the people didn't know the song at that point b/c the album wasn't out. And the first few lines (when all the woo-ing took place) don't let on that the song is about his parents' divorce. I think when they figured that out everyone got quiet. They were probably just excited to hear a new song. I just got tickets for his show in Nashville in November! Yay!

One of the Greatest Overcome Heartbreak Epic Ballads EVER WRITTEN, I am amazed Jason can play this without breaking down. It Kills me every time I hear it. His honesty and courage to make the best of life without self pity is the true beauty of this mystical melody.

Really good upload, thanks! I love Jason Mraz, and I almost cried when I heard this song for the first time. I was really ticked off when the people were like, "Whoo!" even after the "was I far too young to see that" line. I guess they never heard it before, but still. Listening to the song instead of "whooing" at every line that has something about a party or a couple making out might have been a good idea.

I can't relate to it, but I can see what his life was like, and others. This song tells part of his story, and it deserves a lot more attention.
