    I agree, you don't need to understand music theory to partake in the enjoyment of music. The intent of bring music theory into picture was to defend one of my favorite bands with creditable unarguable scientific fact (musical theory). Though I would harshly disagree with your statement that punk is not meant to analyzed. How backwards we would be as a species and where we are today within music without analytical research to propel our understanding on everything.

    There's some truth to that, but even some members of The Chariot don't understand the musical theory that is incorporated into their songwriting. The Chariot's music wasn't meant to follow a theory or structure, it was meant to embody freedom and raw fury.
