In 1993, Phish performed the major compositions of Gamehenge before a stunned audience in Sacramento, CA. The quality of these records is unsurpassed both in performance and source (soundboard), and is probably the closest well ever get to having a studio version of Gamehenge. Phish was on fire that night, and these flawless performances are, to me, the finest moments of each song ever performedever. I do hope many, many come to enjoy these recordings. I can't imagine NOT being stunned by this performance! Sloth never sounded so good

I wouldn't say we were stunned that night ... it was COOL, don't get me wrong. We were in the second or third row. But they were on fire that whole tour. What made this night amazing was that everyone remained quiet between songs. That happening throughout the first set seemed to set the stage for Set II's mayhem!
Also, this is a old movie theater, with CRAZY steep rows of seats ... one reason there wasn't much dancing that night! Try to find Set I if you can ... it was equally great.
