I only said partly and stated Skyrim as a possibility. When I was listening to Amon hardly anyone knew them, but suddenly they have millions of views in youtube and are headlining concerts. It's not long ago that the Amon guys still had dayjobs, like Insomnium still has (which to me seems wrong).

Amon Amarth has been around for 20+ years. I don't think Skyrim is the reason for their success.

Yeah but Amon Amarth has like 17 million views. And it's not that much of a better band if better at all. I think Amon Amarth's success is partly due to the fact that vikings are a trend nowadays (Skyrim?). Skyrim wasn't even viking it was just nordic. Though Skyrim was partly so succesful 'cause vikings are "in" now...
