  • Thank God the museum at the Veterans Post was left un-armed. The valuable relics to remember our nations soliders preserved just as the United States Military Academy Museum as a mirror of honor to duty, honor, and country. Just as these public servants have done their duty to Cherokee County as a rememberance of in the line of duty.

  • There isn't really much that can be done. Felons can't legally buy guns, but if they know the right people and many do, they can get one easily.

  • The police have stated that he was in and around the areas of the three crime scenes the day they occured and that the weapon recovered from the shootout was the same weapon used at the three crime scenes. Balllistic tests aren't like DNA tests, you can have the results back in 24 hours or less compared to day's for DNA. Two questions arise though :Was he working alone and if this joker was from the area and he had a parole warrant out for his arrest why in thee hell was he still on the street ?

  • Ole Tim James whistling through his teeth is freaking annoying.

  • Hell man I'm all for the right to bare arms and hunting -- you might want to get to know me first.

What do you think will help to keep down the guns that criminals have - while you keep yours?

  • Don't even go there with keeping the guns out of criminals hands. Criminals will have guns even if good citizens do not. I will keep my guns, and dare anyone to try to take them.

  • Why does it feel like everyone that stepped up to that podium was straight out lying to us?

Every single one of them stumbled over words, studdered... physically shook. All very common tells. That police department is about to slap him with every unsolved crime from their jurisdiction for the last 10 years. I bet the details of this case will never be released to the public.

Sounds to me like a situation went bad and now its being "smoothed out", so to speak.

  • I am so glad that we have great government and police force in America helping to protect us from these guys. I've gotten interested in serial killers and other crime stories lately.

    Blessings and Peace

  • 4. How many people (excluding citizens) did it take to capture this one guy?

    5. Should Americans worry about this happening in their towns? - Is this a cause for concern?

    6. With all the horrible news stories we hear about today, will be an upsurge in serial killings in America?

    7. Should I or anyone else run out and buy guns now? Practice hard at firing ranges?

  • GREAT Going guys! I removed my comments on the video to here instead because I have questions arranged my questions better:

    1. Will their be restitution for the VICTIMS families? - A trial or something of that nature?

    2. What do we need to do to keep the guns out of the criminals hands?

    3. How much money does it take to pull this off - meaning to capture someone like this?
