I didn't write the song solely for profit. The fact that no one respects intellectual property does not make it dead. It's a matter of principle. The song would cost $.99 on iTunes, but people don't even want to pay that much. Why would they when they can take it? You can't digitally copy a car, or a house, or a candybar, so those things still get paid for, mostly. Don't preach to me about my art. It's mine and I can do with it as I see fit. Especially when people take it for granted.

@Maxwerm People need to stop complaining about copyright. It's gone. The idea, that you can profit directly from sales of your art, is gone. The internet killed it. But it replaced it with something more real, something more social. The idea that, even if you don't make money, you touch someone. That what you make is widely, insanely available to the public. If you write your music solely for a profit, you don't deserve the profit. If you do it right, you'll get money from all the gigs.

That's pretty original, bro. Way to think for yourself. Internet cliches make you look real edgy, bro.
And in the process, I didn't get paid. Glad you like the song though. It took hours to write and record. Enjoy. The song is at iTunes for less than $1. Also, youtube didn't write those copyright laws. They've been around for a long time. Your generation doesn't deserve the privilege you think you're entitled to. I hope your kids disgust you.
