Why do we all love to hate Dolores Umbridge? It's because she's so innocent-looking and so docile with her pink outfits and little purse. You will never suspect that underneath it all she's much a horrible woman as some of the classic Disney villains such as Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) or Snow White's evil stepmother. Adults who may remember being paddled or spanked during detention will certainly connect with this scene.

@pete1210able She is, eventually. After 'Deathly Hallows' came out, J.K. Rowling was doing an online Q & A session with fans, and one of them asked what ended up happening to Umbridge. Rowling responded that after the events of 'Deathly Hallows,' the Ministry of Magic had to be completely reconstructed. During this process, all of Umbridge's MANY abuses of power were brought to light, which ultimately led to her being sent to Azkaban where she belongs.
