Like I said on another video like this, I'd rather take a full on flogging than a Joe Friday dressing down. At least the scars from the flogging will heal and fade in time. The dressing down will last a lifetime.

@mattleemattlee123 Right on! The LAPD had such respect for Jack Webb, when he passed away, they gave him Badge # 714 Sergeant I think I have seen every episode 15 times or better.

Webb was the best. THE face of the LAPD in many ways. And nobody told it straighter than him. "...sick kinds, dying kids, DEAD kids..." Gives me chills to hear this again.
My dad worked nights in downtown L.A., Boyle Heights, Chinatown...delivery work. The boys in blue took good care of him and watched his back. I'll always owe them for that. Webb made sure that at least one public voice was telling it like it was. Thanks for posting.
