I don't find it interesting that God is referred to as a woman at all! It's one of the things I like most about this song. People assume God is a man -- and I don't agree. Women are a hell of a lot stronger than men, and are (in my experience) smarter! They deal with the child-bearing and the monthly curse and all that good (bad) stuff. So yes, it makes much more sense to have a woman running the planet, especially with how moody our weather seems lately!
