find our website here: http://www.pebbles.nu This is a cover-version of the Carlos Santana song "she's not there" recorded live at the cd-presentation of the rockcoverband Pebbles. Pebbles exists of George Duchemin on vocals, Hub Beerens on drums, Marcel van Seters on basguitar and Micha Doove on lead-guitar. Unfortunately there's is no video-image available, but the music will speak for itself, enjoy!

  • I agree...the best version of this song on youtube! I am reasonably certain that I have heard all of them. Great work, guys!!!

  • @blueeyedirish77

    Thanks, glad you liked it

    greetings, Micha

  • Excellent, thanks for posting. Yes, originally written by Rod Argent in 1964 (his 2nd song) but yours is a cover of the Santana version. I love this song because it's very flexible. Someone on youtube has elided it with Santana's "Devil Woman" I think. Great band you have.

  • @RSleepy Thank you for your kind words and xtra info

    regards Micha

  • Its not a Santana song.... Santana covered it very well but, it's a song by the Zombies...

  • I must appologise, you are absolutely right. In fact, somebody pointed this out to me in another comment below(in dutch that is)

  • "This is a cover-version of the Carlos Santana song "she's not there"".....

It was written by Rod Argent of The Zombies. Santana was a cover

  • Oh the guy who elided this song on youtube is Paul Gilbert, and it was Santana's "Evil Ways" he married it to. Very welcome Micha, I'm a fan!

  • Nice sound .. .and good to see you have properly credited the Zombies.

Guitar work is interesting, vocals are solid. However ... your guitarist has to stop shitting all over the vocals. Fill in the gaps, but don't stomp on the lyrics.

  • Hi Bishy41,

well we might. But we are not often recorded live. This recording was sort of by chance. There are however plans to make a dvd or something like that, but that would be later this year at the earliest
