I checked it out here on YouTube and it looks ok. The commentator was cracking a lot of jokes while he played, though, so I may actually have to download it to get the effect. Since it's first person, it does remind me of the original Doom a little, and I always thought that game was scary, too. Doom 3, not so much.
@Elfrunner Dude trust me, the feeling of helplessness, the dark eerie mood and the omg wtf was that moments make this game one of the scariest games of this generation. Not to mention its really hard to stop playing. I think its an indy game so its not about looking pretty (it does look good for what its worth) but more about awesome scary gameplay. It is actually quite old school if I think about it
I'll check out Amnesia here on YouTube. Since it's a new game, I'm not so sure it can be frightening. Older games were different. These days, like movies, it's mostly about looking pretty. But still, I'll check it out.
Yes, they are. It's called Hispanic, Spanish people, or Spaniards if you're feeling dramatic, and it refers to any group of people native to Spain or Spanish occupied territories and ethnicity, like Cuba, Mexico or South America. Any group of people who have had thousands of years to undergo Founder Effect changes become a separate race in human society. Spain has that. There are even racial slurs like dago and cholo that refer to these peoples.
@Elfrunner I 100% agree with you RE2 ftw. I loved playing that game in the dark the the volume up. but if you want 'shit your pants' scary then you should play a game like amnesia the dark descent with the lights out in a dark room with the volume turned all the way up. what an awesome ride.
I wasn't talking about Leon Kennedy. You were talking about the villains in RE5 being black and therefore racist to kill them. I mentioned that RE4 had Spaniards as the villains but nobody seemed to care about it. Racism is, apparently, far more selective. :P
2:22 "....the games complicated controls" And you see him using a controller that is not even turned on.

@Elfrunner That's because being spanish doesn't counts as a race, therefore it's not racism...

@Elfrunner Well it's not like Leon is a black guy. So in any case it'd be I think that it was called nationalism.
