Scratches: Director's Cut--alternate ending

On the Adventure's collection box, it says that Scratches: Director's cut has an "original alternate ending". I had to use a walkthrough to access it, but this is what I got, first time using Fraps.

The way to get to it is quite simple: Click on the typewriter every 2-3 hours in-game, the instant you go into the house, go upstairs and unpack the typewriter. Then on Monday, select the bottom two dialogues for calling Chief Bailey. Keep clicking the typewriter from there on until the journal says "I am not Micheal Arthate".

When the curse is gone, go down the fireplace and you'll see this.

So i'm gonna guess Robin died at birth.

So that mask caused all of this it drove James Insane.

@JackBabbx15 Yes and no. You see Robin at the end of the Last Visit. He's that strange-looking guy that emerges from the bathroom. But yes, the mask drove James, then Milton, and in this ending, Micheal all insane. I have a feeling that James recovered later and was the guy who came in the door at the end of Last visit - because he knows Robin's name, and "hugs" him.

before you enter the door there is a hole in the wall but not when you're in the room.. creepy :O

@MightyBlizzard Because the video clip for opening the door was initally used for the original ending. It wasn't edited for this one.

Guys... i don't know why, but the COOLEST games, like this game, are so short!!!!

I hate this ideea that a cool game must be short! Why, for Christ sake!! However, i'm mad about adventure games and i'll check you channels forever!!! :)

@TheEsseVi Yes, apparently, in this ending, James turned mad and killed everyone (except Robin, who died at birth).The guy in the ending of Last Visit is Milton. He's the one who was feeding Robin. Ofcourse Last Ending had nothing to do with this alternate ending.

Ok, now I am really confused. Is that James? What happened? Has he killed everyone? So who is the man at the end of Last visit? I thought he was Milton. Anyway I prefer the original ending :\

@CalinJackson97 I understand how you feel, the shortness of the game was a bit disappointing, but it almost feels right. Like if it had been too much longer, it wouldn't have been as good. Know what I mean?

I played though this game because of all the hype surrounding it, I was looking for a horror adventure that took place in a haunted house, I was really disappointed. There really wasn't a whole lot of horror elements, and the whole concept of the "curse" can be left up to personal interpretation. Over-hyped; Scratches is the Clock Work Orange of video games (and that's bad).

this game has a great plot and story but the gameplay and puzzles are so boring

they should make a movie of this
