Battlefield2 (BF2) Helicopter Tutorial #2

This is the second video of a series of Battlefield 2 helicopter tutorials.

Video #2 covers:

A good place to practice
Why funnelling is hard to 'get'
How to actually funnel (i.e. what to press)
Related, but different moves, including how to do a tight or lazy spin
Evasion: How to roll, flip, spin etc using manoeuvres that are similar (in terms of input) to the funnel
Repairing while spinning

In future videos, I will be talking less about chopper mechanics and more on how to actually fly more intelligently.

I don't claim to be (even close) to the best pilot or gunner in the world, but I generally know what I'm doing and I'd like to offer some help to people interested in improving their helicopter skills.

@DrummingJako I do indeed, but I don't really fly much (I haven't even unlocked all of the chopper perks yet). Mainly stick to infantry & gunning in tanks/apcs. It's a good game :)

@MinecraftLegit I stopped playing years ago so there won't be a part 3, sorry. L4D took over. Looking forward to BF3, though! I might make some videos for that if it's good.

@AllOne95 It's very good, isn't it? However, I've not had much of a chance to chopper whore in it yet. The unlock system for vehicles is horribly punishing for new players -- I couldn't even stay in the air for 30 seconds because they don't even give you flares when you start. This is what is technically known as "Fucking bullshit".

@TheComedyUK : Cheers. If BF3 is as fun as BF2, I will do. I didn't like the choppers in BC2, though, so here's hoping BF3 is more to my tastes :)

This is how we used to fly on GTA IV.. the same technique, but we'd call it circling; for obvious reasons. Although having the buttons as they were on Xbox 360, you'd have to tap at the perfect moment to get the perfect circle/strafe. I once made a tutorial on it too.. can't remember which account though :/ i think '3styleproductionz' was it.. bad name ik. Anyway, that's also how i learnt how to fly in BF:BC, BF:BC2 and Operation Flashpoint: DR. :D Cool story bro? x_x
