He was born to British parents in Darussalam in Tanzania. His father Gavin Green was a colonial administrator in the still existent British Empire. He later joined Barclays Bank in 1976 and was sent to Egypt to set up Egyptian Barclays Bank. He was educated at the famous Roman Catholic Monastic School called Ampleforth College and went on to study history in the London University. However, he left his education unfinished in an effort to devote myself to Islamic works.




Currently, he is working with an Islamic media company based in England and engage himself in dawah activities including lectures on Islam in London's famous Hyde Park.

I gotta share something. what this man says is 100% correct. I remember when I had what the scholars call the "sweetness of Iman", i COULD not care LESS about EVERYTHING else apart from the worshipping and pleasing Allah. it was an AMAZING feeling.

i am not lying, this feeling was second to NONE ! I was IMMENSELY happy and joyous. and at that stage I was unemployed and ppl were like "dude ur dont even have a job !? what r u so happy about?".
