The totality of our social and natural enviornment is one carved out to suit the interest of a tiny minority, its one of exploitation, suppression and enviornmental destruction, The truth is that Capitalism a politically manipulated market mechanism is hopelessly out of control and can never ever be working in the interest of humanity, its a criminal system denying us true harmony and cooperation for our common well being.

A 2001 paper by Cairns states that the effect is merely that of calls going into hyper mutation mode when stressed. Most likely because less metabolism is directed to DNA repair. He further states that this hyper-mutation state was likely a result of Darwinian processes.
Way to be current.

The original biological "dogma" put forth by Crick and Watson was linear, static and mechanistic. This new paradigm shift is a superior metaphor or explanation for biological processes and the importance of proteins. This new model is dynamic and fluid with feedback from and interdependence with the surrounding environment. Thank you Bruce Lipton for thinking outside the box!

...human dna has been the eternal victim of massive scientific experiment...because we have the unique ability to choose between love and fear...i envy the species who simply follow their migratory patterns...

"adaptive mutations" in response to their environment...

The standard "100% random mutations" part of evolution always seemed a little off to me. Now I have some reading to do from 1988. :) Thanks for posting this.
