California Wasn't Built by Wimps: The Case for High-Speed Rail

And in the process, powerful industries were developed and infrastructures were built that helped propel California to the 9th top economic spot in the world. It all starts with ideas and these ideas pay dividends. High-speed rail is one such idea that encompasses the technology, creativity and innovation that makes California great. The dividends of a 21st century transportation system are enormous: cleaner air, greater mobility, improved connectivity, jobs and greater economic activity.
