  • At 07:44, hey.... that Mp-40 gun is belong to me :0 .... its my souvenir war, please return it that to me. lol

  • There was a battery of Flakvierling guns on that hill, but the day before the attack it was moved to Koblenz. Hauptmann Bratge was informed about this only in the next morning, the day of the attack. He ordered an AA-battery retreating across the bridge to obtain position on the hill, but due to the mess all around his order was not executed. 3 times bad luck!

But when the GI's reached the east side they also had to storm the "flak hill" because meanwhile one (!) 2cm-flak had been placed there.

  • @soeinscheiss11 The bofor ack-ack guns were british.

  • @signekivi

Oh and the halftracks aren't original SdKfz.251, but post-war production OT-810 - they have roof (opened for the filming)

  • @signekivi

Provided by Czechoslovakian army for the filming.

  • The 88s wouldve kicked US ass in that position. What city did they destroy in the making of this movie?

  • The 88s wouldve kicked US ass in that position.

  • Those are m24 tanks they were just in ww2 in 1945, so this is accurate for the movie. m24 are light tanks and very fast. But the main battletank was the Sherman. They also used m26 Pershing tanks with 90 mm gun.
