Okay, I'm sorry...I'm about to get very mushy and sentimental right now...about a freakin' ANIME of all things...and I'm really not into anime at all...

But I can't help it. Because I don't even CARE that it's an anime. If it was a novel, I'd read it. If it was a movie, I'd watch it. It doesn't matter...because the story is too inspiring, too epic, too emotionally gripping to stay boxed in one category or be labeled as a "just another anime". Seriously...the only story as deep and rich as FMA that I've loved so much is "Lord of the Rings"...and that's saying a LOT.

And now it's...over.

You know what's funny? ...I don't feel sad about FMA ending. I don't even think it really HAS ended. No, I don't mean a denial sort of thing like "NOOOOOO FMA CAN NEVER END IT MUST GO ON FOREVER OR I WILL DIE" or anything. It's like...the story's over, but it isn't. If that makes sense.

I mean, I'm a little sad that there will be no more chapters or episodes to look forward to and I'm definitely going to miss it, but my sadness is being completely overwhelmed by my happiness right now. I'm happy, because while the series has ended, the story hasn't; and because all the pain and the struggle everyone went through is paying off. The journey has changed them, the scars are still there, and there are some bad memories that will never quite go away - but the healing is beginning, and the hard part is finally over.

Thanks for such an amazing, inspiring journey, Arakawa. (I can only hope I do it justice when I turn it into a movie trilogy...) ^__^

Oh jesus. I just had to watch and comment again. Even after watching this AMV a couple of times, I still break down sobbing. Helplessly clenching my fists and crying my aching heart out. This video is everything good, sad, heartbreaking, lovely, admirable, touching, strong and irreplaceable of the bond between these three, in condenced form. It can't get any better than this.

This was a beautiful AMV! It really moved me and not many have the power to do that. You really showed the bond of brotherly love between Ed and Al and the care, love and devotion between Ed and Winry. Just awesome! :D

@Tonksy57 Aw, thank you! The way I've always seen it, Al and Winry are equally precious to Ed; they complete him in different ways. Two halves of a whole. So I'm really happy to hear I highlighted their relationships well. That's exactly what I was shooting for. =)

@iamkool11223 Thank you!! <3 I've loved this song for a while, but it was only after I read the last FMA chapter and realized how perfect it was for the Golden Trio and the mood of the ending that I got hooked on it. I knew I had to do something with it, or else I'd go crazy. So I did. =3

@Dearheart42 Dude . . . I saw this and all I can say is beautiful. I'm just starting out on amvs--I only have one that I actually like that I made XD and this song really is perfect for them. It kind of inspired me to make one with this song. Would you mind, considering you're my inspiration? I will credit you as inspiration but this song is so beautiful especially for Ed and Al.
