  • Beautiful composition and very sensitive playing

  • @TheJacoArmy Yes, I too saw and talked to him when he played in Toulouse, France, somewhere in between the late 70's and early 80's,-- I can't remember when.

  • @Benjybass I remember Weber well - I was lucky enough to see him play with Jan Garbarek the early 90's.

  • Beautiful and melodic work and Alain's playing is also lyrical and intimate. The piece reminds me of a similar musical atmosphere that another outstanding bassist Eberhard Weber used to create on his albums. Some of you may remember him. Unfortunately due to a stroke, he can no longer play.

  • This guy is amazing.

  • @iloveyoujules

    Wooten's " garbage " ? lol, what ?

  • crisse que tu sonnes!

  • @ 4:21 this is when the depth is created, and he leaves his bass fly like a bird.Do you guys see that?

  • Alain's fretless playing is his true signature in my opinion. I saw UZEB twice in the 80's. Once as a quartet and the other time as a trio. Of course they rocked and funked the house up. But it's when Alain gets into this kind of 'spacy country' that I'm reminded why I've been a fan for over 25 years.

  • @STEAMWORKER Totally agree with you! ...I just wrote a comment about Wooten's garbage in other video.
