Not really... The difference between a Palit8800GT and any brand of 9600GT is ~0. In this case, the 8800 is a better choice...

8600GT has half the stream processors than a 9600GT and a 9600GT has less SP than a 8800GT

Thanks. At that time the prices were the same for both cards, and it made sense to buy the 8800GT.

For it's money it's quite good... If you have 2-300$ you should buy the 8800GT/GTS

Fajna karta sam taką miałem kręciła się jak szalona moja chyba dobijała do 760/1800/2100 (STABILNIE). W grach po tym prze taktowaniu miałem zysk na ogół 5-7 Fps ! Nie znam lepszej 8600GT .
