[Quinn and Jessica are walking down the hall of Ocean Park High, on their way to the office to pick up their schedules. School doesn't start for about 20 minutes. There is a very long line for the office, so long that it continued down halls A,B, and C, and even wrapped around the corner, reaching the gymnasium.]
-Quinn:"Wow. Long line."
-Jessica:"I know! We're going to be here until lunch!"
-Jessica:[leads Quinn to the back of the line and folds arms across her chest.Sees Karynn and Cameron talking in the middle of the line, Karynn twirling her chocolate brown hair around her finger.]
-Jessica:"Ugh. She makes me sick."
-Quinn:"Who, Karynn? Yeah I know. She's a total s-l-u-t, if you know what I mean."
-Jessica:"She's never going to get my man."
-Quinn:"Your man?"
-Jessica:"Did I say that out loud? Dang."
-Quinn:"I knew you liked him."
-Jessica:[tries to take eyes off of Cameron and looks towards the front of the line. Sees Alex and his girlfriend kissing again.]
-Jessica:"Jeez. Whats with teens and sucking face all the time? Its so gross!"
-Quinn:"Oh please. You just wish that you were Cassidy Rogers."
-Jessica:"Cassidy Rogers?"
-Quinn:"Yeah, Alex's girlfriend."
-Jessica:"Sheesh,Quinn! How do you know everyone?"
-Quinn:"When your dad is the principal, you know everyone."
Once Jessica and Quinn got their schedules and maps of the school, they went their seperate ways to get to their first hour classes.Jessica walked up staircase A-1 and down the hall to a door marked "THEATER". She had chosen this for her main class because she loved to act.She put her schedule in her bookbag and pushed the door open. There were lots of students spread all over the big classroom. There were no desks or chairs, but there were beanbag chairs and modern couches pushed against the wall, making a BIG space for the "stage"
-Jessica:[Walks to the teachers desk.]"Excuse me, I think this is my first class."
-Teacher:"Yes, let me check my attendance list."[Takes out a clipboard with a yellow paper clipped to it.]"Name?"
-Jessica:"Jessica Hollingsworth."
-Teacher:"Ah, yes. Ms. Hollingsworth.Welcome to Theater. My name is Ms.Garcia."[holds out her hand for Jessica to shake]
-Jessica:"Cool.Nice to meet you, Ms.Garcia."[shakes her hand]
-Ms.Garcia:"Go and take a seat next to Mr. McMillan."
-Jessica:[Looks around the room and sees Cameron sitting in a beanbag chair, playing with his dogtags.]"Okay."
[As Jessica got closer to Cameron, her heart started to pound against her chest, threatening to cut off her air supply.]
-Jessica:[sits down in the purple bean bag.]"Umm, hi."
-Cameron:[stares at the weirdo girl that is actually talking to him]
-Jessica:"I'm Jessica."[holds out hand]
-Cameron:"Why are you talking to me?"
-Jessica:[drops hand]"Excuse me?"
-Cameron:"You're doing it again.Stop talking to me."
-Jessica:"Listen. I'm just trying to be nice. Get rid of the 'tude, dude."
-Cameron:"Listen. I'm just trying to tell you to shut up. Get rid of your face, dude, it's blocking my view."
-Jessica:[sits in shock.She hadn't expected him to be so mean!]
-Karynn: "Still trying, eh, Hollingsworth?"[walks over to Jessica]
-Jessica:"Leave me alone Karynn. Or you'll be walking around with 3 paws, you dog."
-Karynn:"Watch yourself, freak."[sits down on Cameron's lap and whispers something in his ear.Cameron looks at Jessica and starts kissing Karynn's neck.]
-Karynn:"Oh, Cameron, stop!"[laughs idiotically]
-Jessica:[looks at Cameron and Karynn's display of affection.She wanted to cry.]
Jessica's P.O.V*
I couldn't believe how mean Cameron had been. He seemed like a sweet boy, but he just totally grabbed my heart and put it in the blender. He was such a jerk. And with Karynn trying to make me jealous, I wanted to murder her.
Cameron's P.O.V.
I didn't know why I had been so mean to Jessica. She was just trying to be nice to me, and I just hurt her. She would never like me. And Karynn was just a jerk trying to ruin Jessica's life. But I needed a chick on my arm, so I grabbed up the chance to have Karynn.
Karynn's P.O.V.
I was totally ruining Jessica's life. I was SOOOO proud of my self.
