It's been a while since I last posted on The Reboot blog. I apologize to those who were wondering where the show went and why there was a sudden stop in the production of Reboot shows. There were a number of reasons why the show was put on the backburner, but now the The Reboot is back! I'll be producing The Reboot from here on out on my own and on my own terms from here on out. Viewers may see some subtle changes to the show, but it will still have the same fun, informative and engaging content you've seen in the past. My goal is produce at least a show a month, more or less. I'll still be posting on this blog, but I'm also very active on The Reboot Myspace, YouTube and Facebook pages.

To kick off the return of The Reboot, I decided to cover this year's Game Developers Conference. What stood out to me? OnLive, CryEngine 3, Punch Out!!, DSi, Infamous, the XNA Lounge and the Career Pavilion. In this return episode of The Reboot, I'll highlights these games and others that stood out from the GDC show floor.

  • cool vid dude! Nice beats! who did that?! haha

  • umm you did bro..haha thanks!

  • Yay, the show is back :D

OnLive looks cool, hopefully I get into the beta.

  • It's an interesting concept..time will tell if something like this can replace consoles. There's something about going to a store to physically buy a game and/or console, which is one thing OnLive can't simulate.

  • is that a new xbox coming out is it the xbox skd??????

  • O___O thats a big hard drive!

  • Yeah, but things are headed in a digital distribution direction though. It won't be this generation due to the small hard drives but the next generation of consoles where each console will have a terabyte of space so you can download full games, OnLive may have an upper-hand before we reach that point.
