@WorldFarts MUVIZU. New update due soon. I suggest you explore the website & check the 'News' section. However, the current release is stable. There's a wealth of free resources. Only problem is that you need a powerful machine to run it effectively. My machine is quite old & struggles. The planned upgrade may help solve this problem. Forum is excellent. Developers appreciate feedback. I made a few demos but my computer couldn't handle it. Muvizu lets you focus on making films, not resources.

@AlanSturgess Now I have to know which "great free 3d animation program" you've found? =)

@Mprunner119 Forgot to say - don't even bother trying to run Creatoon if you have VISTA.
Windows '7' should be OK as it has the ability to let you opt to install and use older software.
If you have XP2 it works fine (that was my OS when I used Creatoon).
I no longer use Creatoon and have moved on to a great free 3d animation program.
Hope it all works for you.

@Mprunner119 Nothing unusual about the process as long as you remember to also download the free unlock key. All files and explanations are on the homepage. Also grab all the demos and free resources.

I need a tutorial on downloading CreaToon : )

Thank you very much! Never thought folk music could be so pleasant to the ear :)
can you draw via vector in creatoon?
ReiOn8 3 months ago
@ReiOn8 There are no drawing tools in Creatoon. It's for 100% cut and paste style animation and in this it works extremely well. A common problem people have is importing images with transparent surrounds, but that's easily solved. I made a demo. Artoonix IS for drawn animation but doesn't use vectors. It is OK for cut and paste work but has a MAJOR limitation - there is only one centre of rotation for pivot points. This is where Creatoon excels. You can have multiple pivots for body joints etc.

can you animate the traditional way with one of these programs
Pedr6500 1 year ago
@Pedr6500 Depends what you mean by 'the traditional way'. Creatoon works using the 'traditional' cutout method in which you move shapes around. Artoonix works by using the 'traditional' frame-by-frame cel-style animation - but with the registered version you can apply tweening (best used only for the cut-out style of animation).
