Silicon fuzz and delay to see how close I can get to the violin tone.
It's in the ballpark!

Line M13 used as looper only
Anderson Cobra
Split Bridge Wolfetone Dr. V Humbucker
Egnater TOL50 - set as close to a Fender clean sound as possible

  • exactly at 1:06 that bend and hold sounds like Barry Goudreau on Foreplay/LongTime

  • @LabelBob I was thinking bad late 80's pop-metal pinch harmonics but my wife loves that song Long Time.

  • Did I spot a little Today is the Day or God You reign soloing going on there around 0:58?

  • @0ddb0d Today is the Day

  • Nice tones, very reminiscent of guys like Allan Holdsworth & Eric Johnson.

  • @rhythmantic Thanks Sal. Allan has almost eliminated the sound of his pick hitting the strings. And his runs are 90% faster!

  • Good to see those DrV's aren't giving you any issue with that much gain. Very nice!

  • Sweet tone! The sound of that pedal compliments your playing style.
