Patients talk about gum grafting with Tulsa periodontist, Dr. David Wong. Unlike traditional gum grafting procedures, we use techniques that do not always involve the patient's palate, which makes periodontal surgery, faster, nearly painless, and predictable. Form more information, Dr. Wong's website is www.Tulsagums.com

  • I've had 4 of these procedures, one right after another. The procedure itself is a piece of cake, only takes 10-15 min. I consider cavity fillings 100X worse than the grafting. About 2 days after the graft, the roof of your mouth, where they take doner tissue, will feel like a bad burn from hot pizza. It takes about 3 days before you can eat normally. As long as you take your pain meds as prescribed (DONT WAIT UNTIL YOU'RE IN PAIN) you should be fine.

  • be careful about having surgeries in tulsa sherlene was told she had cancer and needed surgery as soon as posable or she would die a slow painfull death after the surgery was over the doctor told her it was not cancer after all then he went on vacation after that sherlene spent three months in a coma becouse of an infection and was in four differant hospitals in two differant states not okla. for more info. go to ms bones 1950
