Sorry for the short delay...this semester of classes is murder, what can I say. Up next is the "Only A Lad" audio from Boingo's concert at the Ritz where the video footage is MIA....if anyone happens to know where the footage of the other half of the concert is, please feel free to let me know. ;)

  • I have said it before - one of the few advantages to being my age is being able to see Boingo many times.

  • God, I love Oingo Boingo.

  • @JonErich I don't think it's kids making the claim that the media "made them do it". Just like in this song, it's adults who are unwilling to accept that kids can be just as evil as anyone, so they find scapegoats to blame it on. "It's our responsibility" to shelter them, not face the real problem. They won't accept that kids have "something inside their heads - Grey Matter."

  • I love Oingo Boingo. I am 25 and wish more than anything to have been old enough to go to their shows... I love them so much!!!

  • Unfortunately, this is still going on today, only nowadays the kids blame their misbehavior on the Grand Theft Auto video games.

  • This is so true. A lot of other music genres such as New Wave, Goth Rock, Grunge and Alternative Rock originated from Punk Rock musicians who were starting to experiment with their music more. It was known for example that Kurt Cobain was a big fan of Black Flag and that band had a big influence on him early on. Other '90s bands were also influenced by bands like Bad Brains and the Misfits. And of course just about EVERYONE probably has the Ramones to thank for their career.

  • I will say it and I will say it again, GOD BLESS PUNK! Seriously without punk we would not have many bands, Nirvana, Oingo Boingo, Weezer and probably even U2. You dont have to like the bands I mentioned but seriously GOD BLESS PUNK!

  • Thank you thank you thank you!!!! This is much better soundwise than the other concert track up on youtube, great song, and thanks tons for this!

  • I wonder if this song was inspired by the conquests of one of the Johns in Boingo...hmmm...*sets of to ponder*

  • love how danny turns the "poor social economic" defense that was so misused in the 80's into a song that spells out the actual truth of the situation. clever clever clever
