What to do when the person you are interested in begins to ignore you

Everything is going fine. You're flirting with this cute guy/girl, and chemistry is developing. Then all of a sudden you start getting the cold shoulder. You're getting ignored! What do you do? First of all if you see him/her hanging around with someone else, you know it's over. Time to move on. But if that's not the case, call him out. Say, "What's up? Why are you suddenly cold and no longer your friendly self?" If you don't get the answer you want, distance yourself. Let him see you talking to other people!
Remember, you're world does not revolve around him and you need to be treated with respect and dignity.

infectionofes--Sounds like there could be another guy possibly. But, it doesn't sound good. I would distance yourself. Don't contact her as often. She might wonder what's up with you and come back. But don't count on it. Wish I had better news.

Sorenv--Pretend she is not ignoring you and talk to her, like you would any other friend. That way, she will be a little surprised, and you will catch her off guard. If you smile and say hi, she really has no choice but respond! And you will figure out when you talk to her whether she was ignoring you because she's not interested now, or she's simply shy and doesn't know how to approach you.

pmmers-if it hurts too much to be friends with him, then only say "hi" and "bye" when you see him. But if you can, be friends with him. But don't count on him ever being more than that, because you could get hurt. It's not to say that he might break up with his girlfriend, but don't count on it. And in the meantime, try to meet other people. And it may be that the more you get to know him, the more you realize the two of you aren't mean to be. And he could be a good friend.

I told my crush I really liked him a wile ago because he was being so flirty and sweet, but I didn't want things to b awkward cuz he was like one of my bffs. Sounds like you over stepped boundaries with this person and they are not as into to you as you are with them. Playing head games is not the answer here and will make things worst than they are now. The only thing you can do is just gracefully move on.
